Fenland Arts are now able to offer the Arts Award to all young people aged 11-25.

The Arts Award is:
    • A great way for young people to explore creative skills
    • A nationally recognised qualification
    • A framework for learning new skills and sharing them
    • A link between young people and creative professionals in arts and media

Both the bronze and silver award can be offered through any of the activities that we run. If you are interested please ask.

We are planning to start running regular Jammin’ sessions at March Town Hall (Skoulding Suite) in the New Year. We have a drum kit, several electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards and various other instruments or bring any instrument of your own.

Before we start we are looking for experienced musicians to help run the sessions, if you are interested in helping out on a voluntary basis please give me a call. You must be aged 15+. (this could lead onto paid seasonal work, and will be good youth work experience).

Fenland Arts Youth Council

We are looking for young people aged 10-19 to be part of our youth council. You would need to be able to speak up about the Arts in Fenland, get involved with Arts Activities and apply for youth grants. Our first meeting will be held on Monday 25th January at 4.30pm, in the Skoulding Suite at March Town Hall. The meeting should last approximately 1½ hours.
