Backroom Acoustic Music Club
New club starting in Ramsey on November 8th 2007
A monthly acoustic music session meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month
"Open Stage" session - all styles and abilities encouraged. Whether you sing or play an instrument - whatever your style - you will be made to feel welcome, as will non-performing members of the audience. No need to book a slot - just come along - we will get round to everyone.

Singers Inspired
Downham Market’s Community Choir, Singers Inspired, meets term-time on Thursdays at the Methodist Church Hall in Paradise Road, Downham Market. The choir is secular and sings songs from all cultures, countries and times - from African Lullabies through Gregorian Chant via Van Morrison and Georgian folk music! New members are always welcome. No prior musical knowledge is expected, just a love of singing and natural enthusiasm! Subs are reasonably priced with concessions available for those on low income.
Bright New Start for Local Choir, Singers Inspired in 2008
The new term begins early this year for Singers Inspired with their new guest musical director, Mary Lovett. Mary will be bringing her talent and a wide repertoire of songs to brighten the long grey days in January.
Mary will be leading Downham Market¹s community choir every Thurdsay until half term, when she will be followed by Jane Wells. Both women are talented local musicians, singers and choir leaders.
If you¹d like to come along and join in, the choir meet The Methodist Church Paradise Road. Downham Market Norfolk, from 7.15 ­ 9.15 pm on Thursday evenings. Beginning Thursday 3rd January 2008.
No previous singing experience is required and you won¹t be expected to take an audition. Current subs are £4.20 and £2.10 per week.
