The Elme Hall Sunday Rock and Blues Club - Don't Spook the Horse

don’t spook the horse People who follow Neil Young's music are passionate about that music; music which is so varied in style and colour you almost don't need to listen to anything else! From delicate acoustic masterpieces like 'Needle and the Damage Done' and ‘Old Man’, country classics such as ‘Heart of Gold’, through to the powerful folk rock anthems like 'Rockin' in the Free World' and 'Like a Hurricane'.
Don't Spook the Horse is equally passionate about this music, and most importantly, in how they deliver this music to their audience. This is a tribute band in the true sense of the word – and they are authentic and heartfelt. A far cry from pastiche or “entertainment bands”. The gear they use doesn't just look the part, it is the same stuff Neil uses. You'll also see some great stage props too!

Opera Dudes – Licensed to Trill

promo picture With their unique blend of style, swing and slapstick humour, this is one of the funniest and most original classical double acts you will have seen. No other act will take you from Verdi and Elvis Presley to Lloyd Webber, via Rachmaninoff and Donald Duck! Don’t be surprised to find your feet tapping, your sides splitting and your heart breaking. This show is pure entertainment.
Expect the unexpected – opera, swing, showstoppers and impressions that would make Mike Yarwood blush – yes, that good! There will even be an opportunity for your audience to flex its own vocal muscles. As well as their terrific singing, the show includes funny stories, singalongs, a concert piano solo and a silly piano duet in the style of Morecambe and Wise!
