Wisbech Players - 'The Woman in White'
The Wisbech Players will be presenting the play 'The Woman in White' adapted by Constance Cox from the book by Wilkie Collins.
'Sir Percival Glyde, who is being hounded for money by the sinister Count Fosco, marries the heiress Laura Fairlie for her fortune. As events unfold, Glyde’s efforts to secure the money — and also to remove the threat to his reputation posed by the unfortunate Anne Catherick — become more desperate and cruel. Combined with this tale of disturbing intrigue are elements of romance and comedy: the resulting mix is headily entertaining. '

And now the day is here and we are inviting everyone to come along and support our stars as they show us what they can do.

MARCH INTO THE 40s
Come and join us now in our third year.
Afternoon entertainment: Lindy Hop Dance lessons for beginners and intermediates by Paul and Fae, from Rug-Cutters Lindy Hop with a dance demonstration. Short WW11 film shows.
Evening entertainment: Dancing to the music of the 40’s with the fabulous DJ Woody. Special guest appearances from the lovely Miss Lola Lamour singing your favourite war time songs.
There will also be a raffle and free donuts. Keep an eye out for Dave the Spiv with those lovely Nylons (free fitting service) and all those other goods that are hard to come by. Military & Civilian re-enactors and vehicles.
Please do not bring your own food or drink as authentic 40’s catering (Spam sandwiches, Corn beef Hash, bread & butter pudding etc) will be available until 11pm and a bar open all day and night at working man’s prices.
All profits from the event will be donated to Help for Heroes and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

WWT Welney – Swan Feeds
Watch thousands of Whooper and Bewick’s swans, ducks and other waterbirds spend the winter at Welney Wildfowl and Wetland Centre from the observatory as the wardens feed the birds with an expert commentary. Daily swan feeds at 12 noon and 3.30pm. Floodlit feeds at 6.30pm Thursday to Sunday only.

It marked a watershed in the history of chamber music repertoire when first performed due to its broad emotional range and abundance of passion. The new work in this concert (cocommissioned by Britten Sinfonia and Wigmore Hall) is written by Luke Bedford, resident composer at Wigmore Hall. Luke studied at the Royal College of Music and his music is full of brooding expressive intensity in which every note counts with maximum purpose.

Come and join us at Pre-School Picassos Art Group at the Farmland Museum & Denny Abbey. This course of 5 x 45 minute morning sessions held every Wednesday will introduce young artists (aged 2 to 5) a range of artistic and fun activites that can also be used at home. The sessions are led by local artist and experienced tutor Ann Biggs. No experience is necessary, just make sure you wear something you don't mind getting a little messy! February will see the return of the award winning artist, Louise Stebbing to Octavia View, Wisbech with a special group exhibition with her students at Skylark Studios! The exhibition has been curated by Atelier East. This exhibition will show some of Louise Stebbing's latest linocuts alongside a wide variety of linocuts, watercolours, pastels and acrylics created by adults attending her classes taught at Skylark Studios in Tydd Gote.
A singer / songwriter and artist who lives in Thetford, Norfolk. She has been writing and performing her own songs for a number of years. Her soothing and melodious sounds will stay with you long after the evening.
A one day workshop to help you explore your values, dreams, desires and lifestyle. and enable you to discover ways to manifest positive changes, (may include use of yoga, voice, relaxation, readings and other complementary therapies which can be tailored to suit the individual).
People who follow Neil Young's music are passionate about that music; music which is so varied in style and colour you almost don't need to listen to anything else! From delicate acoustic masterpieces like 'Needle and the Damage Done' and ‘Old Man’, country classics such as ‘Heart of Gold’, through to the powerful folk rock anthems like 'Rockin' in the Free World' and 'Like a Hurricane'.
A rocking blues band or a rock band with some blues? You decide!

"Nicola P" will be hosting an evening Workshop looking at the different areas of working with spirit and how to progress in unlocking your own potential!.
