Regular uses: Keep fit, dog obedience training, Cubs & Beavers, Weight Watchers, Puddleducks Pre School, two Mother & Toddler groups (Wednesdays and Fridays).

Access: Level access to main entrance. All rooms on ground floor.

Electrical Safety.

Insurance: Public Liability.

Parking & Public Transport: Own car park with 2 spaces for Blue Badge holders. Public car park and street parking nearby. Bus stop in New Road (100m).. Venue signposted from road.

Smoking: Upwell Hall is a no smoking venue.

First Aid: Kit available.

Personnel: Hall Manager will meet hirer on day of hire to collect any outstanding fees due and pass keys over. Hirer is totally responsible for locking the hall after the event and arrangements are made to recover the keys. The hirer is fully responsible for setting out the hall for their event. No trained First Aider on site but a FIrst Aid Kit is available.

Toilets: 1 male, 1 female. 1 wheelchair accessible.

Stage: Raised stage 5m x 3m. PA system available as additional hire facility.

Other facilities: PA system available at extra cost. Use of 8m x 1.6m
projection screen free of charge.

Hall: Wooden dance floor/seating area 15m x 8m; tiled seating/bar area 15m x 4m; more than 12 plug points, 200 chairs, 43 tables (various sizes). Totally refurbished in 2005.

Committee Room: carpet flooring, blinds/curtains, 13+ chairs, 6 tables (seat 6-8) for club meetings, buffet, small groups.

Kitchen/Catering: Kitchen available with electric kettle, microwave oven, jugs & teapots, refrigerator, cooker, washing up materials, 200 each cups & saucers, small & large plates, dessert bowls, knives, forks &
spoons. Hot cupboard, serving trolley, 4 ring electric hob.

Hire Fee: available on request. Special rates for regular weekly hirers.

Additional information: the Hall has its own designated Licenced Supervisor/Bar Providerbar provider, who should be used for all events requiring a bar (details on booking form).It is situated in the centre of the village, has ample off road parking and has a grassed garden area to the rear. The main hall has a vaulted ceiling giving a very spacious environment. There is ample space for all table and seating arrangements, leaving plenty of space for dancing.
