Divers Voyces St. Wendreda's Church, March

10th July 2010

Just to let everybody know that Don and I went to a sublime concert on Saturday evening in St Wendreda's church, given by Divers Voyces. As you know Fenland Arts gave them a grant for which they were very appreciative. Stephen Johnston, the Director, thanked FAA in his introduction, and there was a large acknowledgement in the programme [well worth a a pound as the programme notes on each of the composers outlined a lot of the details which were in Stephen Johnon's talk in the Town hall on 3rd March].
It was a shame there were only 35 or so people in the audience, but there were a lot of things on in March and a concert in Chatteris the same evening, so perhaps that was a good turnout. Divers Voyces gave the same concert the week before in Long Sutton, and are due to perform again in September in Stamford if anybody is interested. Their website is
