Strangeworld are gaining a big reputation for taking the folk/roots genre and giving it a real makeover. Played exquisitely on traditional instrumentation including cello, oboe, mandolin and accordion (amongst many others), the band use influences from the musical spectrum to create a sound that has been described as ‘mesmerizing’ . With two albums to their name and a third in the making, they are fast becoming one of the most respected acts on the scene today".
