Fenland Youth Theatre presents Dream Nights at Dunhams Wood 11th and 12th July 2009 Outdoor theatre with a family picnic in the park is on the menu at Dunhams Wood near March as Fenland Youth Theatre presents a funky 1970's take on the A Midsummer Night's Dream. The adaptation is faithful to Shakespeare but combined with a soundtrack of those classic 70’s hits like from of Motown & Jackson Five, Blues Brothers and Abba, it will give a whole new spin to the bard. The performance starts at 3pm with the Junior Theatre presenting a 30 min medley of recent musical tunes such as ‘Bop to the Top’ from High School Musical. Dunhams Wood will be open from 1pm if you would like to make a day of it. You can enjoy a gentle stroll in the shade of the Woods or a ride on the train. You are welcome to bring a picnic and a rug or low-backed chair and enjoy lunch in the green. Please note that the performances will go ahead regardless of weather and tickets bought in advance cannot be refunded due to inclement weather. Please bring a low-backed chair or rug – no seating provided. Venue: Dunhams Wood (PE15 0DN) Rodham Road off B 1099 Fenland Youth Theatre Arts Courses run each Tuesday evening at March Town Hall, for 6-17 year olds. press release
