Hampton Amateur Theatre Society
The Hampton Amateur Theatre Society was formed in 2005 by Hampton residents wanting to meet new friends and to provide a fun outlet for people interested in local theatre arts. Then based in Yaxley, they performed two hilarious comedy stage shows with rave reviews. Members also pride themselves on organising fantastically fun social evenings in Hampton. As a member of HATS you can look forward to karaoke nights, quiz nights, barbecues, or fancy dress parties that go on well-into the night, all fuelled by a tipple or two. HATS is as much a vibrant social group as it is a comedy drama group.

In 2007, HATS relaunch in Hampton providing an ideal opportunity to meet your neighbours and make new friends. Housewives, business professionals, and college students are examples of a variety of past members of HATS, all having little or no experience of acting. They meet on Tuesdays at the Hampton Community Room in Hargate Way, Hampton (next to Hargate Primary School), at 7.30pm. (Please note - over 16's only). Visit their website for more details www.hamptonscomedytheatre.co.uk or phone 07757 032286.
