Ever felt Mad enough to kill someone? The queue jumper, the ex who made you feel small and shabby, the council official who cut your services and won’t take your calls, the people who never listen to a word you say? Carer Joyce doesn't give in to those feelings, even when provoked by mad old irritating bats like Bella.! Client Rita doesn't, she hasn't a bad bone in her body. Bella… DOES… but surely a frail little old lady doesn't have it in her to be a killer, or does she? Don’t dig up the shrubbery!
It’s Women Behaving Madly
One actress, three characters, oh… and the woman from the council!
Caring, comedy and compost, a brand new, topical, funny and poignant one woman comedy drama from from The MsFits,, the award winning duo who brought you :Sex & Chocolate, Stick Granny on the Roof Rack, Women on the Verge of a T Junction and Fur Coat & Magic Knickers.

Cambridge/Ely based guitar popsters Rigby are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut CD at Blue Barn Studios near Ely and aim to start gigging in early 2010.
Two of the band, singer Chris Williams and drummer Lee Marshall appeared in previous Ely bands: Beach Blanket Bingo and Crossland in the 90s. The Rigby line up is completed by Matt Gamble on bass and Richard Fairclough - guitar and backing vocals.
The band play a style of 'indie' guitar pop with a definite 60s influence complemented by the harder edge of some of the new wave bands of the post punk era. Chris says that their influences include: "The Who, The La’s and well... just good songwriters in general really". The band write their own material but you can expect some songs from their record collections in their set and the odd surprise!

Free rural arts workshops in Fenland for children and young people 23 to 30 July 2009
Record-long summer holidays are putting the pressure on parents, but there is no need to stress, help is at hand. Fenland Arts has put together a series of free workshops for children and young people in villages and market towns all around Fenland.
Benwick, Christchurch, Doddington, Manea and Wimblington, as well as the four Market Towns March, Chatteris, Whittlesey and Wisbech will all benefit from one or more sessions starting 23 July – the week after schools have broken up for summer.
‘I hope that children will find that joining us in activities in the village hall is easy and approachable even if they haven’t tried arts or crafts before, and of course we are by no means excluding those living outside the villages from participating in the workshops should they have access to transport’, says Annaleena Money.

Bumpstead Boys Neil Lanham and Andrew Stannard breathe life to the true story of Ruby Alleston and the horses that were her life-blood and passion growing up on Red House Farm in Kersey Village, South Suffolk during the agricultural depression of the 1920's and 30's.
An authentic retelling of stories passed down to her family: ‘If you did not have anything you were lucky because you did not have the worry of it for as sure as God made little green apples you would loose it. It was a time when you could walk on land from Cambridge to Clacton that nobody would take.’
